The facility has all the best equipment and accommodations that take into account not only the best of care, but also the comfort of your animal. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and polite. Their medical expertise is exceptional, but just as important is the care and compassion they have for the animal and the “parent”. I started going to Dr. Oliver about 16 years ago with my first cat Darth Vader. I loved Dr. Oliver’s veterinary skills and his reasonable prices. When Dr. Oliver passed away he left his wonderful practice to two young, passionate and eager gentlemen; Dr. Lindsay and Dr. Farthing. They have done a wonderful job carrying on Dr. Oliver’s practice. I was one of the first clients in the new building (in 2009) after my dog Buddy was stung by a bee and had an allergic reaction. They took us in and gave him medicine, and that week I was there three more times with my other pets for various problems! We recently added a new dog, Izzy, to our bunch and Dr. Nick has performed knee and anal gland surgery on her and she is doing very well. One of the toughest times was when we had to decide to put our cat MJ down. The staff all made me feel secure in the decision I was making, and were sensitive to my feelings while putting him to sleep and I am thankful to them for that. One week after that, I received a sympathy card signed by all of the OVMC doctors and staff and a clay paw print of MJ. I recommend them to everyone.
